Thursday January 31st 2019 from 7 - 10 PM(Discussion starts at 8).
This bookclub is for those that identify as women. It is a safe space for those who enjoy intellectual conversation and can handle respectful dialogue (and debate). Its for the Queens who are seeking meaningful, thought provoking discussions; who are confident enough to have their ideas challenged, or are seeking to deep dive into human thought and process.
Interest categories: race, religion, gender identity, feminism, womanism, social justice, anti-racist, equity, inclusion, diversity.
This months book is "The Hate You Give" by: Angie Thomas. The discussion will be on this book and themes that arise from the reading. You do not need to have read the book to participate in the discussion.
Cost: $10
*Snacks will be provided, but you can bring something if you wish.
